The Canopy at John James Audubon Center: A Morning of History & Nature
John James Audubon Center
Join us for an exclusive Canopy member experience at the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove, where history, art, and nature come together on the very grounds where John James Audubon lived and developed his lifelong passion for birds.
Spend the morning exploring the Center’s museum and exhibits, then step outside to enjoy the scenic trails and grounds of historic Mill Grove. You’ll also have the opportunity to take a docent-led tour of the historic house and learn more about the place where Audubon refined his approach to drawing birds.
Following our exploration, gather with fellow Canopy members and Audubon Mid-Atlantic Vice President and Executive Director Suzanne Biemiller, for lunch in the pavilion. It will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with other bird enthusiasts and hear more about Audubon’s work.
This special experience is exclusively for Canopy members and their guests. We look forward to welcoming you to Mill Grove for a memorable morning celebrating birds, conservation, and the legacy of one of the people who helped inspire our organization.
